It's been gone for 10 years and now it's Back again! Naan and Brew located downtown next to Farmers Market has their all you can Buffet Back again!

It's every day except Tuesday when they are closed from 11am to 2pm, including Saturday and Sunday! It's $20 for the buffet which includes Naan, Chai Tea, a meat dish, vegi dish, lentil dish. Rotating menu! Free parking on Sunday's!

Hi I’m writing this a bit late but my family owns a restaurant in the birchwood plaza and about 2 weeks ago a white late 20s male came into our restaurant and offered to sell “candy” to my sister age 17 while she was taking his order she kindly declined and asked if he needed money. She had thought that maybe he was unhoused and needed some money. That’s when he pulled down his pants and flashed her. She quickly came to the back and grabbed us. I ran out and locked the door and called the police. I went out after and tried getting a description of him and he disappeared into the back apartments. I haven’t heard anything back from the police officers. And I wanted to alert anyone who lives near by. I don’t care if this man was off drugs or drunk this isn’t ok behavior and is very scary for the children who walk home after school. The police officers not being able to find him makes me believe he might live close by which is EVEN scarier. I didn’t catch a photo. But he is a white man 5’7 skinny walks with a limp leg.

Really, guy? You pulled across three lanes of traffic and forced everyone to slam on their brakes. I almost hit you, which is why I honked. You then proceeded to throw a whole tantrum in the road, sat through a green light while two full lanes of traffic waited behind you, and then tried to RUN ME OFF THE ROAD when I passed you. Insane.

You're lucky I stayed calm, no one was hurt, and you didn't actually hit me. If you had really kept pushing into me like that and hit me, you'd be in jail tonight.

Seriously, what is your problem? Asshole.

P.S. I know he's not going to read this. I know I'm screaming into the void. Still, it makes me feel a little better. Fuck that guy. Don't be like him. He tried to run me off the road because he cut into traffic and got honked at. Wild.

It's late, and I've been going since 7:30am, but I wanted to say happy 4/20 and I love you all!! (ETA: no, I did not work the entire day, just til 4. Please share any pics you might have taken!!! It was a wild day!)

I'm a shift lead at Cheba Hut and today is always the biggest day of the year.

Today, I think all of Bellingham showed up. We hit over $10,000 in sales and I cannot even wrap my brain around this right now.

So thank you all for the love and to any Cheba homies reading this, I love you, too, you guys absolutely killed yet another amazing 4/20! It has been a blast and I cannot believe how successful it was.

I'm genuinely shocked right now.

It was truly the best part of a very long day.

Anybody know if you need to bring proof of residency again for the 2nd physical ...if you already brought it the first time ?...I've tried to call and can't get ahold of a human....any advice is good advice.. TIA

What are the parks like around here?

I own a home that I can't afford or maintain anymore due to an ongoing illness. I bought it for the location for my kids' sake and it was already run down when I bought it. To give you an idea of the condition, I basically got it for the price of the land value.

I'd like to sell my home and downsize to a mobile/manufactured home in a park. I'm old enough to live in a 55+ park, so that's an option. I haven't lived in a mobile home since I was a kid, so I am out of touch with costs and quality of life in one.

Chuckanut's speed limit has been lowered by 5 mph to now be 35 mph for the entire extent of the pass. The signs are white and suggests the change is permanent. For those concerned, the time added to the trip is roughly 2 minutes (assuming you were consistently going the max and not slowing)

I’m seeing mixed reports both on Reddit and other sites about if Hotel Leo in downtown is worth staying at? We’ll only be staying one night. The location seems great with so much walkable. But are the room bad? The pictures on the website look great. How is the parking? What would you tell someone considering a stay there? Thank you!

I know I have brought these conditions upon myself for my choice of locale (my apartment window faces an alley downtown), but I do not control the actions of others, nor am I sure who is responsible for cleaning alleys that fall victim to those actions!

On Saturday night (1:24AM) a group of several raucous cackling women took it upon themselves to urinate a giant lake + river of pee toward the upper side of the alley, immediately outside a business’ back door betwixt some recycling bins. Classy! My annoyance at the time was palpable, but now it has festered. That giant lake and river of pee has now dried into a noxious and baneful odor that haunts my open window with every gust of wind as I try to enjoy the nice weather!

I don’t imagine these drunken urinary occurrences will cease entirely, obviously! But as we inch closer to drier weather, I am wondering if anyone is aware of some city entity that bears responsibility for alley maintenance/safety/cleanliness/etc or if I’m SOL till it rains a whole lot :)

Does anyone know if a US Census is going on right now? I had someone come to my door to schedule an interview. They looked legit with a laptop and ID, but I can’t find anything about a census online and am not sure if I should participate.
