It’s only happened to me a few times but dying from jumping off the second floor balcony or roof of a 1 story building, because I’m one shot, should not be a thing. It’s just as annoying when you’re on the other side of it as well because the person who dealt the damage doesn’t even get the kill. Hopefully they increase the fall damage distance in the future.
I’ve been really enjoying RedSec lately, but I want to improve fast because honestly… I’m not that good yet.
I tried finding pro-level players specifically for RedSec (not multiplayer), but I couldn’t really find anyone well-established who consistently gets a lot of wins and kills that I can watch and learn from.
It’s not like Warzone where there are tons of high-level players and even coaching-style content.
Do you guys know any actually skilled RedSec players worth watching?
I’m thinking of waiting for the leaderboards to come out and then checking if any top players are streaming (even smaller creators), but I figured I’d ask here first.
I know the reasons behind the "Lack of Pro Scene" in Bf6 and Redsec in General but surely there must be someone right? The game is getting better and better and it's more enjoyable than Warzone now!
They used to spawn in regular locations. I've noticed a delayed spawn for the cases but this is them not spawning at all anymore. Now they seem like maybe one in ten is available? Anyone know why these are no longer spawning in game?
What Controller Sens/Aim curve/Aim assist settings is everyone using? And does anyone use the axial deadzones if so why?

I’m running 75 sens with BF4/BF1 for the curves and BFBC 0 for acceleration. Infantry Aim on with aim sens at 35. Aim assist and slow down at 100. Deadzones as low as can go without drift.
This has been sweet spot for me dropping a lot of 20+ kill games but something still feels off and I can’t get to the bottom of it. I don’t know if it’s server issue or what but my aim feels different every time I log on.
Always annoys me having to sometimes stab a fence multiple times before it breaks. The serrated blade has a different looking swing to it, but seems to always break through on the first swing.
Is it me or this the gameplay for RedSec just bad .. can’t see my player, fun, audio is all over the place, buildings don’t load up when landing
Hi, I am really struggling to see the enemy. Sometimes I’m being shot at and I can’t see from where. I always ping when I see an enemy but I seem to play with a lot of players that don’t bother. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help? Also any settings I can change so soldiers stand out from the background a bit more. Thanks
I noticed theres always some players that will exhibit bot like behavior (ex: stand still and challenge sniper with rifle). I am wondering if there are currently bot players in gauntlet to fill lobbies
i7 13700f, RTX 5070, DDR4 3200 (xmp) 32 GB ram, H610m v2 mobo (this is the weakest link of my system, it was a mistake). I play mouse and keyboard. Temps are fine, max 77 degrees VRM temp, cpu max around 70-75 degrees. I play at all settings low except for textures ultra, lightning high, my gpu frames is above 200. Running the game through EA app (all overlays disabled, no background applications are open).
I've tried everything I think, disabling core parking, gsync off/on, reflex on and off, c states disabled, speedstep eist disabled/enabled tested, power limits PL1 120W PL2 170W, undervolt (-0,075 dvid offset), and I've tested without undervolt too, it's the same though it heats up my VRM a lot without undervolt, ultimate power plan, prefer maximum performance on NVCP, tried setting FPS cap in NVCP too, didn't work well still and now I'm using in-game limiter...
Just whatever FPS I set, it just drops below it like 5 fps and leads to a weird micro-stutter. I can't play with vsync because I feel the input lag a lot. My setup is: Gsync + fps cap + reflex on boost. I've tried without HAGS and off HAGS too, game mode on/off tested, disabled windowed optimizations too. Tried 500hz polling rate, no difference and made my aim a lot worse, now at 1000 as usual. It just feels impossible to run it without those micro-stutters. Only this game has it.
My CPU ms max goes like maybe 6 ms on average it's like 4-5 ms. So that should be like 150-160 fps, I set 140, it drops to 135 and micro stutters from time to time. I set 135 it drops to 130 and stutters, I set 120 and it drops to 115 and stutters etc... It's not a fixed set of 5 fps due to reflex auto cap (though I have no vsync anyways), it drops and comes back up. It feels like random, not like that all the time but enough to be annoying.
I've also tried playing with a higher cap like 170 but then it fluctuates a lot and kind of puts my aim off again and still leads to the same stutter anyways.
At this point, I think I give up and think that it may be more on the game, rather than my PC itself.
if u can demolish buildings with helicopters, why dont they do it IRL? are they stupid?
If it does hide you from being marked, then what is the radius that it is effective?
I keep hearing it adds input delay, but how bad is it really? Like is it something you actually feel while playing or just numbers on paper?
I get around 80–90 FPS normally, and with FG it jumps to ~150. It looks way smoother, but I’m not sure if it’s messing with responsiveness.
Do you guys use it or just stick to native frames?
Also does NVIDIA Reflex help balance out the delay or not?
Why is This Game giving me three low lvl Players ? I mean I understand you gotta Start somewhere, but it feels like playing with handicapped people Sometimes.

Started playing br last week since I only play gauntlet and multiplayer mode.
Feels great to log my first duo win. I had 12kills no death. my partner had 5kills.
I sniped both players at the end circle. gg
The number of hackers I’m running into is insane… and now that ranked has been announced, it’s only gonna get worse. That’s why ranked should be paid. Yeah, there’ll still be cheaters, but at least it’ll cut down on them a bit.
21 wins in 7 days as a new BF player. I didn't learn REDSEC from watching guide videos. My fluid intelligence makes me capable of learning things without guidance from others. I can win half of my matches with terrible randoms. The matches I lose are trolls intentionally getting me killed or killing me themselves. REDSEC is full of lots of trolls who will kill me in ways such as drive the truck with me on the gunner and drive into something at full speed to kill me. Every loss I remember was caused bad troll teammates, lol. It would be unfair if I found a decent teammate who followed my lead. I've been the best Warzone player for years, so REDSEC is baby food and I'm a lone wolf who is never full, so expect more wins soon unless I take a break.
