KCET RANK 2026

I got 99 in kcet 2026, ill be writing improvement exam, how much marks should I get in improvement exam to get rank 11k-9k i dont want rank less than 11k i checked other predictions that said even if I get 300 in pcm my rank would still be in 12k is it true

should I just focus on comedk and if yess how much marks should I get to get rank below 8k in comedk

How is this college for ECE? Placements, peers, alumni help?

Hey everyone, I recently gave my KCET and I might end up getting into this college, so I wanted to get a clearer picture from seniors.

Would really appreciate honest insights on a few things:

  1. How are the placements, especially for ECE? Do good core companies actually come, or is it mostly IT/service roles?
  2. How’s the placement cell and overall management? Are they active and supportive during placements?
  3. How strong is the alumni network? Does it actually help with referrals/opportunities?
  4. What’s the peer group like on campus in terms of seriousness, exposure, and competitiveness?
  5. How’s the campus life overall distance from the main city and how strict are the rules/discipline?

The absolute bullshit in this post- let me break it down.

Of course this was written by a senior coordinator. Please take your giraffe sized tongue and stop licking your own ass.

Honestly, the actual core- the 5-6 people were good, they know what they were doing. But the rest of it- the SCs were terrible, terrible is an understatement None of the teams functioned properly. I was involved with them so I know how absolutely pathetic the team was.

Let me start from the beginning. The event screening happens and NONE of the event SCs have any idea about the clubs and what each club does. They just give twisted smiles and are pretty annoying. Anyways, they weren't that bothersome.

Next, sponsorships. Oh my fucking god. Terrible. The SCs have no coordination amongst themselves and no idea about what is happening. They also give us a stupid do not approach list out of which they couldn't even get a good deal from half of them. They charge a lot of money for basic things, it's almost looting people but obviously, no one cares about other people and poor vendors. How could one expect empathy from them.

Finally the logistics. Whatever I say is just the tip of the ice berg. These people overcharge you for everything, they won't even give you the money for your own shit that you raised. It's so pathetic. They made us fill in our logistics blah blah ages ago and when did they order logistics? On the day of the events.

The other teams- admin, venue, etc were honestly fine.

The reels were terrible as well with no creativity but whatever.

So for heavens sake stop glazing yourself, own up to your shit, most of you were terrible and pretended as if the world would end if it was not for you. You're so not cool.

From the outside, I hope you all loved utsav but I hope you know the amount of shit that goes in the background. And here's the guide to join the core team.

  1. Make connections with previous core members
  2. Be an absolute shithead.
  3. Pretend to be the coolest human alive.
  4. Worship the current core.
  5. Hate everyone.

Branch change in BMSCE

Iam obc 2b, If I got under 20k rank And I chose civil engineering at BMSCE, Is branch change to CSE/ISE Possible?

And pls also tell me How to change the branch? If it is possible, bcz I want ISE here but I don't think 17-20k rank will give me ISE here so thinking of branch change.
