Been running Tesamorelin + GHK-Cu for a few months — here’s what actually changed

Been lurking here for a while and figured I’d share my experience since I couldn’t find many honest write-ups when I was starting out.

Picked up Tesamorelin primarily for visceral fat reduction I’d read the clinical data and was curious whether the results would translate outside a controlled setting. About 6 weeks in, I noticed genuine changes in mid-section composition, nothing dramatic but noticeable, especially combined with a decent training routine. Sleep quality also improved noticeably, which I wasn’t expecting.

GHK-Cu I added later, mostly for skin and recovery. Hard to quantify but my skin texture has genuinely improved. Could be placebo but I’ve run enough cycles of other things to feel like something is different.

Sourcing is always the stressful part with peptides — I actually ended up starting my own small supplier (precisionpeptide.co.uk) because I got fed up with inconsistent quality. Happy to answer questions about either peptide.

Anyone else running Tesa long-term? Curious about people’s experiences with dosing protocols.

A small intro to peptides (more informatory posts along the way)

Peptides are small chains of amino acids—the building blocks of proteins—that act like messengers in your body. They send signals to your cells, telling them when to repair, grow, or function better. They play a role in: *🩹 Healing & tissue repair *🧠 Brain function & focus *🔥 Fat metabolism *⚖️ Hormone balance Think of peptides as instructions your body uses to stay healthy and efficient. Without them, your cells wouldn’t know what to do.

Peptide Therapy: A Simple Guide to How It Works and Its Benefits

Peptide therapy is an emerging approach in health and wellness that uses small chains of amino acids—called peptides—to support the body’s natural functions. These peptides act like messengers, signaling cells to repair, regenerate, and perform specific tasks more efficiently. By targeting particular processes such as healing, muscle growth, or metabolism, peptide therapy aims to enhance recovery, improve skin health, and support overall well-being. While it shows promising benefits, it’s important to use peptide-based treatments under proper medical guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness

Stop Fighting Your 35+ Biology 🛑

Ever feel like your body broke once you hit your mid-30s? The old tricks—panic cardio and extreme dieting—don't just fail; they backfire.

The secret isn't working harder; it's clearing the biological fuel filter. As we age, our mitochondrial health becomes the "bottleneck" for energy. When we punish our bodies with stress, they respond by holding onto fat.

The Shift:

Support, Don’t Punish: Swap "obsessive eating less" for nutrient-dense fuel.

Build the Engine: Lift weights 3x a week to boost your metabolic floor.

Consistency Wins: Embrace the "boring" routine over the frantic "hack."

Stop fighting your biology and start supporting it. Treat your body like a partner, not an enemy.
