URGENT ‼️ HYDERABAD people please Help with the best neurosurgeon

My father was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor in the left parietal lobe, and the past few days have been extremely overwhelming for our family. We’re currently consulting multiple neurosurgeons to get second opinions and understand the best path forward, but I also wanted to hear from people who may have gone through something similar.

Some doctors are recommending a biopsy first, while others are suggesting going directly for surgery and doing the biopsy during the procedure itself. We’re trying to understand the different treatment options and types of surgeries available, along with the pros and cons of each approach.

His symptoms started with speech and language related issues such as:

  1. forgetting words
  2. stuttering/slurred speech
  3. forgetting spellings
  4. spelling or saying words incorrectly

At the moment, he’s taking:

  1. Dexamethasone 8 mg twice daily
  2. Levetiracetam 500 mg twice daily

While I found amazing people (they are really amazing and helped me cope with this uncertainty mentally) on this sub from different states and got cost estimates , right now need more inclined towards Hyderabad best neurosurgeons who’s specialisation is on brain tumors. Everyone we know are suggesting doctors who have specialisation on spine but not on brain. I wanted to post this on HYDERABAD sub but couldn’t because I have less karma on Reddit ( as I was always a silent one on this used to find my self on competitive exams subs but this change in life has brought me here and unfortunately for being silent on Reddit costed me by not being able to post on few subs) So anyone who know THE BEST DOCTOR and which HOSPITAL they are from in Hyderabad that would help us a lot.

Is it alright or should I be worried?

I am a 24 years old male, 173cm, 82 kgs.

My veins are easily found by the phlebotomists.

This is the first time I am seeing this happening after getting a full body blood test done by a phlebotomist sent by one of the biggest pharmacy apps in my country.

I told him it was causing pain but he was in denial and then he interrupted me by saying how smoothly it happened.

After a few hours, I saw this and it is still there.

Should I be worried about it?

Or should I get it checked?

Please help 🙏

I will be grateful to you docs.

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here because I’ve been dealing with a very strange recurring abdominal problem since around 2016, and despite seeing multiple doctors and trying different treatments, I still don’t have a confirmed diagnosis. I’m hoping someone here may have experienced something similar.

Main symptom pattern

I get recurring episodes of severe lower abdominal pain.

Pain location

  • Pain is mainly below the belly button in the center lower abdomen.
  • Sometimes it spreads from left to right across the lower abdomen.

Nature of pain

The pain can feel:

  • crampy
  • sharp
  • pressure/fullness
  • bloating/distension

At its worst the pain can reach 8–9/10.

Attack pattern

Typical episode:

  • usually starts around evening
  • gradually increases over several hours
  • peaks at night
  • then slowly improves
  • by next day most pain is gone
  • but abdomen can still feel swollen/inflamed for another 2–3 days

Episodes usually resolve on their own even without medicines.

During attacks

  • abdomen visibly swells
  • abdomen can feel hard/tight
  • sometimes touching it hurts
  • curled-up sleeping position sometimes helps
  • after waking up pain may partially reduce
  • I can usually still pass gas and stool
  • maybe passing gas helps somewhat

I do NOT usually get:

  • vomiting
  • fever
  • diarrhea
  • blood in stool
  • urinary symptoms

Frequency / timeline

The episodes happen roughly every 3–6 weeks, though gaps vary.

Some recorded episodes:

  • 21 Dec 2022
  • 12 Jan 2023
  • 06 Feb 2023
  • 24 Feb 2023
  • 08 Apr 2023
  • 31 May 2023
  • 04 Jul 2023
  • 29 Jul 2023
  • 01 Sep 2023
  • 18 Sep 2023
  • 05 Jan 2024
  • 08 Mar 2024
  • 03 Apr 2024
  • 27 Apr 2024
  • 19 May 2024
  • 13 Jun 2024
  • 13 Jul 2024
  • 03 Aug 2024
  • 24 Aug 2024
  • 10 Oct 2024
  • 07 Nov 2024
  • 28 Dec 2024
  • 24 Jan 2025
  • 15 Feb 2025
  • 03 Apr 2025
  • 23 Apr 2025
  • 18 Aug 2025
  • 08 Sep 2025
  • 25 Sep 2025
  • 19 Oct 2025
  • 18 Dec 2025
  • 28 Feb 2026
  • 27 Mar 2026
  • 05 May 2026

Bowel habits

Normally:

  • stool 2 times in morning
  • sometimes once again in evening

No major chronic diarrhea or constipation.

Medicines that sometimes help

I usually take:

  • Combiflam

It helps around 8/10 times.

I have NOT yet tried antispasmodic medicines like:

  • mebeverine
  • drotaverine
  • hyoscine

Treatments tried

Homeopathy

  • Feb 2023 – May 2023

Ayurveda

  • Aug–Sep 2023
  • Oct–Nov 2023
  • Apr–Jun 2024

Allopathic consultations

Multiple gastro evaluations over years.

Important test findings

Stool tests

Stool tests in Dec 2022 and Jul 2023 both showed:

  • Ascaris lumbricoides / Ascaris present
  • mucus present
  • pus cells 4–6/HPF
  • occult blood negative

Anti-parasitic medicines taken

  • Albendazole
  • Ivermectin
  • Nitazoxanide

Multiple courses were taken between Dec 2022 and Aug 2025.

Imaging findings

Ultrasounds repeatedly showed:

  • terminal ileum / distal ileum thickening or edema
  • adjacent caecum involvement
  • excessive gas-filled bowel loops
  • small reactive mesenteric lymph nodes

CT abdomen (Jan 2023)

Mostly normal except:

  • mild fatty liver

No major obstruction, mass, abscess, or severe inflammation seen.

What doctors told me

Mostly vague answers like:

  • gas
  • infection
  • nonspecific inflammation

No final diagnosis was given.

What seems confusing to me

  • Why does this recur in episodes for years?
  • Why is the pain so severe if it’s “just gas”?
  • Why do ultrasounds repeatedly show terminal ileum/caecum abnormalities?
  • Could Ascaris actually cause this kind of long-term recurring issue?
  • Could this be mild Crohn’s or chronic ileitis?
  • Has anyone had recurrent episodic ileocecal inflammation like this?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had:

  • recurrent lower abdominal colic,
  • terminal ileitis,
  • bowel wall thickening,
  • parasitic-related bowel issues,
  • or unexplained episodic abdominal distension/pain.

Thanks.

My mom is 55 year old and had asthma since 20 years she was using inhalers during winters and rainy season when she had wheezing. This week for two days she had cold and fever and extremely tired when we visited doctors her spo2 was 86%

Her respiratory panel reports turned was normal but influenza ab was positive. She is currently on oxygen at 1 to 2 litres for 16 to 18 hours a day and was discharged from hospital saying she has improved and will need to follow up in aa week

Her spo2 was 89% wt rest in hospital

And 93% with oxygen

Tab Azithromycin 500 mg — 1-0-0 × 3 days

Tab Doxophylline 400 mg — 1-0-1 × 5 days

Tab Torsemide 10 mg — 1-0-0 × 5 days

Tab N-acetylcysteine 600 mg — 1-0-1 × 5 days

Tab Methylprednisolone 8 mg — 1-0-0 × 10 days

Doctors suspected viral puenomonia but have mentioned in her reports as acute infective exacerbation of bronchial asthma and type one respiratory failure

Please do share ur insights if she will improve or is this serious. My doctors didn't explain and our family is going through really anxious time.

I really need help with my acne, especially from people who’ve dealt with hormonal/PCOD acne.

I’ve been struggling with acne for ~6 years (since high school), and I was recently diagnosed with PCOD. Lately I’ve been getting more cystic, painful breakouts, mainly on my cheeks and chin.

My skin type is confusing:
It’s VERY oily, but at the same time it feels textured, not soft, and sometimes even dry underneath? Like oily + dehydrated at the same time.

Current routine:

Morning:
- Cleanser: Neutrogena face wash or Bioderma Sébium Gel Moussant
- Moisturizer: AcneMoist (sometimes The Face Shop Rice Ceramide)
- Sunscreen: Beauty of Joseon

Night:
- Cleanser: same
- Moisturizer: AcneMoist
- Treatment: Benzoyl peroxide 5% (chin/cheeks)
- Some nights: Re’equil retinol

Extras:
- Hydrocolloid patches for active pimples

Concern:
I recently started using the Tony Moly toner (the white one), but I feel like it might be breaking me out? I’m not 100% sure, but it makes my skin feel more oily/heavy after applying, and I’ve noticed more bumps. Has anyone experienced this with it?

Main issues:
- Long-term acne (6+ years)
- Painful cystic acne (probably hormonal/PCOD-related)
- Oily but dehydrated skin
- Texture + acne marks

Questions:
- Has anyone with PCOD/hormonal acne found something that actually worked?
- Could my toner be causing breakouts or excess oil?
- Am I overusing actives like benzoyl peroxide + retinol?
- What helped you fix that “oily but dehydrated” skin feeling?

I just want to get to a point where my skin feels healthy and calm. Any help, routines, or holy grails would really mean a lot 🥺

But the hiccups keeps coming back and last atleast 2 hours (once it lasted upto 8 hours). This hiccups occur more than 4 times a day. He is tired of it. They have given some medicines and injections and dont know the exact cause of this. The tests they have done is normal including ECG. (He is not admitted cause they can't find anything serious).
