TW: Substance Abuse

Hello! I am a pagan and have been for 6-8 years, depending on how you look at it. I just started going to AA and DAA meetings, hence the trigger warning. Ever since getting sober, I have been drawn deeply back into my art. For the first time, I have been desperately drawn to music and as a result, have written a couple of songs, lyrics wise.

I've always been a poet, since at least 6th grade. Writing (Storytelling) has always been my passion. But in this new chapter I'm starting, I have also been feeling pulled back to my spirituality. This has included fae work, and really spirit and shadow work in general.

I wanted to work with Artemis for a long time, but I am also a trans man. So, in my sobriety journey, when I started thinking over what higher power I wanted to focus on, Apollo came knocking.

Now, my big question: How do I start? What books can I read? I want to hear him! As I wrote that last exclamation, a sun beam broke through the clouds to shine on my face, lol. Let me know what you all think.

Since I’m excited to be active on here, I felt I could share my altar. It’s not much, but I have offerings and some things I feel connected to Apollo through.

Might add a tarot deck I’ve been working with, or at least a card or two from the other.

ETA: I’m currently staying somewhere for another week and a half, so this altar will have to come down eventually.

Finished my bead embroidery for Apollo! ☀️☀️

It’s not the best; and one of my hand is injured and braced so I couldn’t use it; but I’m super proud of it!
