2007 Pilot that will not engage the transmission. The YAW sensor shows some wild stuff. Using FSM, circuits/grounds are good. I attempted a SAS reset/zero point calibration and my scanner just tries and spins. Of course I don't have a test YAW sensor to try....
Also attempted unplugging sensor to at least see if trans engages. No luck. The red numbers in the picture drop to zero when it's unplugged but fail safe remains on.
At this point would it be too presumptuous of me to just throw a new sensor at it? If a new sensor is installed, calibration set, etc then will the fail safe relay go off?
I couldn't scan the vehicle at the point of failure and I couldn't even get it scanned before the battery was disconnected (yeah I know, but it was on side of I-10) .
Once scanned, these were active:
26-1
61-1
112-1
Do whatever you want Derek.. Life is short.
I gotta say man, your "Studio" is F!&$/>G Lit!💡🔦 Also, literally with the lighting set up? Perfection 👌 I'm so hyped to see new content, 👍 and I'll be willing to bet, you are going to able able to find some real gems to work on, especially so close to, not rust belt states.
Btw? Fun fact? About me... my daily driver is an '04 Honda Char-Vee, 237k miles!! And before you ask, yes it has the magic passenger seat drawer and the foldout green table as my cargo bed. Second owner of it, previous owner was my godmother, may her soul forever rest in peace. 🙏
I recently put a "new"/used transmission in it. And I'll have to look up the exact code, but it's basically a "boost" problem that says to replace IMRC and I have, stuck in that Techline loop of same code same problem.
Thing is? She runs like an Olympic Champion, only the dtc and check engine light are on. Which 237k... right? But a buddy of mine, who knows cars better than me, said something about some after market part that would I'm guessing here, essentially add the " boost/psi" the engine needs?
I'm guessing here, but I'm down for any thoughts or ideas. I have my lunch breaks or after work time with the HDS. Maybe some parts of the intake are warped? So it's not building specific vacuum? But it's still enough to run on? No lag in acceleration or noticeable engine performance issues.
I'll get the DTCs in the comments tomorrow. Thanks! In advance lol
