As of a few hours ago the 3rd-party video servers that AnimeKAI uses to host videos are down and displaying this message:

There isn't much we moderators can say at this point to be honest other than advising you not to jump to conclusions.

Luckily video hosts only host the content and are therefore mostly replaceable, but that may take days. The Admins might also be working on a solution that may fix this issue faster.

Since there is a lot of confusion:

This does NOT mean that Animekai itself is shutting down, just the videos are not available at the moment.

To prevent spam, site comments have been disabled and the discord has been locked for low-level members.

Even though your servers are getting overloaded and I can’t watch anything fucking anything, I’ll be here waiting for you to get back up on your feet 😘

Also all you losers coming from other sites because it got took down, just use the 100+ available clone sites, you’re not welcome here GO BACK TO UR OWN SITE. We’re really gonna have to embrace Japanese culture and start introducing anime site xenophobia if y’all keep causing my lovely anime Kai issues

Hi, the site is currently not working at the moment, this is an issue with the server hosts that host the videos/animes.

You can access the site regularly but nothing is watchable.

Please be patient as this issue is ongoing. Please don't spam create posts or say stuff like "its the end"

It takes way more effort to post a title and a body complaining about the site being down or servers not working, than it does looking or using a back up site. Google is free, other sub reddits are available. I get anime Kai might be the "best" for some of you. Even for me, it's my main site, but I'm not crying over if it's taken down because I have back ups, I have plethora of ways to get anime without paying for them.

If it's easier to come here and anounce every minute the site is down than to look for another one, you have a serious issue and need to get out of that comfort zone and do something yourself.

Let's stop the "down" spamming in these post. I provided about 30 people a backup site. NO I WONT BE SENDING OUT A DOZEN MORE DMS to everyone, y'all to complacent being lazy and wanting everyone to do something that you can do yourself. No one gave me sites, I sat on my PC and found them.

But if it's any worth to you try (stre) (mio). Get a Debrid service account. This doesn't just give you anime, it also gives every streaming service and movies with high bitrate 1080p anime playback and 4K for movies and series. If you didn't know, well now you know.

If you need help with setup use AI. Everything is literally a click or a few types away.

Stop worrying about the site going up and down everytime the only reason is traffic too many users means the servers can't handle this much it always happens yall are just overreacting because of it even if the site gose down eventually it won't be the end of piracy gatekeeping won't work either because it can still be tracked down but there are plenty of backups in case if this one gose down have wonderful day everyone and peace
