My take on a very famous fountain
I spent all day on this yesterday and it’s been flagged twice, I’m thinking because of the statues? Anyway, I’m not mentioning the fountain by name this time, but I built this as a memory of my honeymoon in Rome. The building code was designed and created by me. The cobblestone path and water were created by MA-8843-0980-4582, so thanks and credit go to them for that!

Surprise Gold Rose
I posted the other day about getting my first ever blue rose. Color me surprised signing on just after posting to discover my first ever gold rose had spawned overnight too! I wasn’t even trying to grow one. Just a happy byproduct of trying to breed my blues! So, yay!
And my second blue came in the morning after. I’m so excited! 🥰🥹😁🥳

I recreated the New Leaf post office in New Horizons
I am recreating Animal Crossing: New Leaf in New Horizons and this was the first project I did for it!The design for Pelly is my own custom design and I’m really pleased with how it turned out for what it is.
Some of the limitations prevented me from having some key elements (windows on right wall, hanging purses on left wall, gate on the right side of the desk), but everything else is as close as I could get! I chose to sacrifice those aspects so I could use the blue pillars and partition walls to make the room a more accurate size.

I've been playing wrong
So I have never owned a switch but when the swiitch 2 got announced I decided it was my time. After almost a year of having the switch I decided to pull the trigger on animal crossing. I have played 3 days now, catching fish, bugs, rinse and repeat. But not really progressing much. I've been selling the critters if my pockets got full but deep down I was like, huh, I should be getting a museum at some point right? Feels weird to sell them... oh well...
Today, while talking to Tom Nook, I saw the option to show him a creature..... and there we go, there is the progression I was looking for. Being able to craft an axe, watering can and I placed the museum tent down. Now I wait for the next day I guess.

I am in a conundrum sharing Island with wife
So my wife and I are fairly new players, coming up on two months maybe. Anyways, I’ve really enjoyed the slow paced grind. Anything new feels like a reward. We’ve been a two star island and I I’ve been putting in the work to get to a 3 star. Also, I am not the island rep, my wife is…so ANYWAYS, a couple nights ago I wake up in the middle of the night and my wife is wide awake. She bought an online subscription and discovered treasure islands 😩 she stayed up looting islands for I don’t know how long. I went from having 1.7mill bells to 8mill and so much stuff I don’t even know what to do with it all. She decorated the entire island and it’s now 4 star island. She got us ALL the fruit and veggies. She is so happy, BUT I am not 😔 I feel like the satisfying grind is gone. I enjoyed waiting for the flower and vegetable vendor to come to town, now we have every crop, every flower, even the one that only comes when you reach a 5 star Island. Gold and Blue roses. I enjoyed grinding to breed new flowers I enjoyed the grind for bells and crafting supplies. I’ve got so much gold now I don’t know what to do with it 😩
I’m happy wife is happy, she doesn’t game much, so this is her outlet and happy place, but other than catching species of fish, bugs and sea creatures we don’t have I feel like there’s not much else to do…the allure is gone. This is the point in a game where I lose interest which is why I don’t do this sort of thing with other games. Not sure how to handle this other than go along with it, but I know she’s just going to keep getting new stuff from all the islands.

Help With Making a Pond
Hi! I love this design code so much and really want to use it to make a duck pond, but I’m really only used to making straight paths. I’ve made a few different shaped plaza areas, but I struggle with these curved type design codes. Same goes for when I try to use “the path”. Does anyone have any tips?
