Why Is Strawberry Jam's Music So GOOD?!

I am almost done the Advanced Lobby in Strawberry Jam, and I've been listening to the tracks for the Expert levels.

The music is soo good!

In the Beginner through Advanced lobbies, there were a few bangers, such as Clear Skies (from the Int level Temple of a Thousand Skies) and Superway (from the Adv level Starlight Station), but the Expert lobby has arguably more bangers than all three lobbies before it.

Just to name a few, there is ORB POWER (from Chromatic Complex), Unwinding (from Clockwork), and Gravity Swinger (from FLOATING POINT).

I've yet to look at the music for the Grandmaster lobby, but I know I won't be disappointed 😄

Say something nice about FREAKologist

I'll start: He knows a lot about traditional instruments and standard chord progressions

anyone else feel like MPP and PW are bouncy sounding albums?

I feel like I'm swimming in an ocean of colorful slime while the world is bouncing around whenever I listen to these specific albums

Falling Through A Field - Black Moth Super Rainbow

Say So - Bent Knee

What if instead of 'Defense' it was called 'Offense' and in the song Noah used various outdated and distasteful terms for women

Do y'all think this would've affected his legacy? Lmk

Does anyone else feel like recent singles and one-off tracks haven't been getting the love they deserve?

The somewhat recent one-off tracks and singles releases, like Congaree, Love on the Big Screen/Buddies on the Blackboard, and even Vampire Tongues, although attributed to Avey feat. Panda, are all really great songs in my opinion. I'm kind surprised there wasn't more chatter on here about any of them. I'd love if the next AC album incorporated some of those ideas and sounds. What do you all think of these tracks?

New Interview with Geologist about harm reduction, mutual aid, and advocacy

Hi everyone,

We run a nonprofit called This Must Be The Place. Long story short we go to music festivals across the country passing out free narcan, but more importantly, Brian is one of a handful of people who has just been completely integral to what we do since we met at a festival in Seattle back in 2022.

It’s actually not about the music at all -- he spends about 30 minutes talking about his work with mutual aid groups in DC and why he's so passionate about harm reduction. He gets pretty deep into his thoughts on moving away from 'Instagram advocacy' and actually getting out into the community to help.

If you're interested in taking a listen, you can find it on Spotify / Apple Podcast / Amazon etc right here!

hi yall, I make music inspired heavily by panda, avey, and the collective. Wanted to see if anyone else on this sub does as well? Its very hard to find like sounding projects and figured I might as well go to the Source.
