Angine de Chatrine
To compensate me for not getting a ticket anywhere in the entire world my cat has transformed into Khn. Hopefully she will loop this and do Klek next.
I drew the beautiful aliens in my style
I tried my best to capture their mysterious yet playful essence. They were pretty fun to draw.
What was even the point of signing up?
Jumped into queue at 10am only to be greeted with the screen theres no tickets available. So fucking stupid. I HATE the current state of live music where I have to battle scalpers and bots. What a waste of time
EDIT: I was able to get a ticket! I hit refresh ON CHROME ON PC and it worked!!
But seriously fuck this system. Best of luck to everyone!
Tickets for fans don’t Exist Anymore
I’ve been going to concerts for almost 40’years now, and the thing that’s changed the most (besides the ridiculous price increases) is that all humanity has been removed from the ticket buying process… no more ticket outlets, venue box office sales, or even phone lines with real people on the other end. Everything is now internet based bullshit.
In the last 10 years I’ve watched online ticket purchasing process become more and more miserable…
Laylo Fan Presale my ass. Joining a waiting room 15 minutes before the onsale time just so you can wait for 20 more minutes for all the tickets to be sold out and yet mysteriously available on third party sites for ten or more times the original cost.
Did any actual human fans score tickets for these newly listed shows?
Did anyone get tix?
🔺I got the code, got on 30 min before 10. Was trying for Ogden theater in Denver on the 12th. At first I had issues, it was saying I had too many tabs open, or turn off VPN and WIFI. I don’t have a VPN, closed all tabs, still no, finally turned off WIFI, then it finally let me in. And a couple mins after 10 it says no tix available. What the actual fuck was this whole “codes so actual fans get tickets” thing even for? Seems like the scalpers win again. 😢🔺
The real Angine de Poitrine is…
…joining the queue as soon as it went live, waiting ten minutes and then finally making it to your turn only to see…
🙃🙃🙃
UPDATE!!! They added a third show in Brooklyn on Wednesday and I just snagged 3!!!! 🔺⚠️🔺
Since we’re all here complaining about the presale, let’s talk about why it’s such a nightmare.
The only mod who could stop me has abandoned their kingdom. Spam has swept across the land. Only God can stop me and she’s like “Nah, actually, you’re good”. So I‘m gonna post something semi off-topic because it’s relevant and informative.
The TLDR version is that Ticketmaster/LiveNation is a ruthless capitalist pig-demon and so are AXS and pretty much all the rest. Our politicians are a bunch of geriatric old fucks who take donations from companies like this so they either don’t care or deliberately allow it. It’s all a big racket.
If you’re like me and prefer reading to watching videos, or you just want to know more check this out:
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2022/mar/14/john-oliver-ticketmaster-live-music-costs
>”*That investigation also found that Ticketmaster often holds back the vast majority of tickets from the general public for the resale market, where they are mostly bought by professional ticket brokers with bots – “as I’m sure you all assumed, all of those stupid ‘are you a robot?’ tests have very much not kept them all out,” Oliver quipped.
Brokers flip those tickets on the secondary market for a huge mark-up on sites like SeatGeek, Stubhub and Ticketmaster, again. “These sites badly want you to think of them as fan-to-fan marketplaces,” said Oliver. “But the truth is, resale sites are not just fan-to-fan at all.” A government accountability report from 2018 found that the “overwhelming majority” of ticket sales on these sites were conducted by professional ticket brokers, marked up anywhere from 49% (on average) to as high as 7,000% (a One Direction concert).*”
And:
>”*When you take all of this together,” he later concluded, “**the reason tickets are so hard to get when they’re on sale is that they’re often not on sale**, and the reason they cost so much on the secondary market is that you’re paying exorbitant fees to the platform and might be buying from a broker or in rare cases, even from the artist themselves.””

mesmerizer
i made these drawings as matching pfps for me and my friend but i thought i'd also share them here.. this was like. really really hard to draw.
Picton - Codes Work Now!
My code didn't work this morning or afternoon. I just tried it and was able to get in and purchase tickets! If you're code didn't work today, try now!
Any successful ticket presale purchase?
Waiting for my turn on Axs' site for tickets to either show in Brooklyn, NY. Not getting an opportunity to purchase anything so far.
LA Dec 5th Show - smooth process
Hope you guys noticed a 2nd Wiltern show was added. Got into the waiting room at 9:45am and checked out in about 2 minutes 😭😭🙏
Let's make some AdP slogans
If the nose is floppin', the drums are rockin'
If the nose is stiff, it's a killer riff
Add on
What a shit show
Laylo didn’t even get me my presale code. Then Ticketmaster kicked me out and was greeted with this. Fun times
DC, again with the bots . . .
Signed in, fan code ready, in the ticketmaster queue, 22,000 customers ahead of me for a 1,500 venue. Honestly something really f’d up is happening here. There’s absolutely no way 22K actual human fans with fan codes in the DC area were online trying to buy tix for the DC show this morning.
Minnesota ticket experience seems to be the same as everywhere else
Sat in waiting room for half an hour only to be told constantly that there was an error with the queue and you were removed. Then to be told that they were sold out instantly to bots instead of people. What a terrible time to be a fan of concerts...
Edit: Seems to be intermittent reports of tickets randomly becoming available and unavailable again. Maybe keep trying?
Terrible presale experience??
Anyone else see this shit show of a presale? I had tickets picked out had the code entered etc go to checkout and not available anymore lol.
Last night stubhub already had tickets for sale at 500$+… wtf is even happening anymore man.
