2 drop wasted. Now going to 3drop.. My story 👇

Hey everyone,

I’m thinking of taking a third drop for NEET and I honestly need some real advice.

I’ve wanted to become a doctor for a long time, it’s not just a random idea. Back in 10th I was actually doing pretty well—I was in the top batch at Aakash, could solve good-level questions, and teachers used to appreciate me. So I started 11th feeling confident.

But things went downhill from there.

In 11th, I got heavily distracted by random stuff, mainly hip-hop drama like Emiway vs KR$NA. It sounds dumb, but I ended up wasting a lot of time on it, and it became a habit to keep following these things. That pattern continued for a long time.

I still thought I’d manage somehow. I did study in 11th and 12th, but I barely revised anything properly.

After my first attempt didn’t go well, I took a drop but decided to prepare on my own without coaching because I thought I already knew everything. That didn’t work out. I fell into the same cycle—“I’ll start tomorrow,” then distractions, then guilt, and repeat.

My second drop was even worse. I kept telling myself that I had a lot of time, and that illusion basically ruined the whole year.

Now I’m here, thinking about a third drop, but this time I don’t want to repeat the same mistakes. I’ve realized I probably need structure and pressure, so I’m planning to join coaching, give regular tests, and seriously cut down distractions—no Instagram or Snapchat, no random controversies, and maybe just one or two movies or series in a month.

I do feel like I have the potential, but my discipline has been the biggest issue.

At the same time, I’m also scared. If I mess this up again, it’s going to hit really hard because this has been my dream for years.

So yeah, I just want honest opinions. Is taking a third drop a bad idea? What mistakes should I absolutely avoid this time? If you were in my position, what would you do differently?

No sugarcoating, please. I really want the truth.

( i use chat gpt so that people can understand it more clearly)

Need advice

Hlo I just wanted to know ki newly opened allen centre kaisa hota hai? Like in my hometown allen has recently opened their first offline centre. So should I consider joining their course as a neet dropper. Or should I prefer continuing in their online course? Offline or Online what would be the best? Also the distance of Allen's offline centre isn't too far away from my place. I am really confused and don't know exactly what would be the best for me. Earlier I was a part of their online programme and was enrolled for their 2 year course, the choice of attending online was purely made because I felt it would become difficult for me to manage school and offline coaching simultaneously. Guess I made a really wrong decision by continuing with a regular school and not a dummy school. That created a lot of hindrance in my preparation. I do not want to mess up in my drop year so I want to make a proper guided decision this time.

Somewhere it bothers me ki online was way smoother and better in terms of quality and obviously the teachers that taught us were very good.

But the problem is that I don't know if I will be able to isolate myself for a whole year and work all alone, most of my friends are JEE aspirants and I feel that this is something that I need to change. I require that surrounding and that competitive exposure.

Thankyou. Your advice would be highly appreciated.
