2nd day using alcohol markers!
I absolutely love them

I absolutely love them
I’ve been getting in to alcohol markers and consuming more coloring content. What is up with these “viral” “trendy” coloring books that are all about “cute girls” and “cute bears” and “little shops”? I prefer more mandala and pattern style coloring, I’m just confused about why and how the online coloring community has kind of put itself into a box.
This isn’t meant to be a criticism or anything at all, just a curious discussion, especially after scrolling this sub and seeing 90% of the posts fall into this category.
Edit: legitimately confused why people downvote. If you’re gonna downvote, let me know why!
I bounce around between mediums a lot, namely gouache and ink but turns out I think markers might be thing this year. The texture of them brings me immense joy.
What alcohol markers should I buy? I had 24 colour set from ohuhu but couple of them ran out so I’m left with few markers only. I love ohuhu ones but problem with them is they are expensive and they ran out quickly. I just do colouring with them not any other type of art. So I was thinking what I should do next stick with ohuhu or try some other markers. Let me know your suggestions on this or if you have tried any other brands I would really love the reviews. Thank you in advance❤️
I've used ohuhu pastel markers and boy aren't they smooth af!! their price is skyrocketed now all thanks to hobbytok I guess? I don't have access to tiktok in my country so I wouldn't know. I wish I could get these markers sooner, I gotta get the skin tones set now fs
yo yo yo!!!! i'm trying to enhance my skills before an upcoming queer craft night in my area, so i'd love to practice by doing some half-assed alcohol marker portraits! send a selfie and I will do my best to draw u 😄 if u have any color scheme requests, pls let me know! it'll help lol
(btw the last face, which is also my fave, was based on my son denji <3 ily denji hayakawa)
I've just started using alcohol markers. Please ignore the pomegranate I have no idea what I was doing 😭
i don’t have a lot of knowledge about types of paper/cardstock so please bear with me 😅 i want to use my ohuhu markers to design greeting cards, and the blank cards i have are too thin. what should i be looking for to find blank greeting cards that my markers won’t bleed through? OR should i get cardstock and fold it myself?
I know it's super simple, but this page brought me a lot of joy today
I am MSC Wintec student. I have want some suggestion from you for My College project about making Alcohol, which can be a beer or wine or harder. Give me some unique idea which can I make, and you also get information about that further, and you like to drink it. I have to make beer or wine or alcohol. From unique recipes, give me some suggestion.
I have this problem: every time I color with my markers, the color bleeds from where I've colored, and it goes outside the lines. I think that's normal for alcohol-based markers, but mine do it really badly. Is it perhaps because they're really cheap? Or is this normal for everyone?
This is a free page. I used watercolor markers, alcohol markers, and gel pen for the dots. Oh! And eyeshadow for the background.
I am interested in buying touch markers. I wanted to ask if their quality is good. I know that it appears on the back of pages so also what kind of sketch should I get
