I’ve just swapped out my headlights on my ‘05 base for ‘08 TL-S headlights. The low beams are the same and working. I have pigtails for the signal bulbs coming but not sure what wire colors to match up. Also, apparently the fogs on the ‘05 don’t fit the DRL as they are different bulbs and they also function as the high beams. Not sure if there is a conversion kit or how to rewire the fogs. I don’t care about DRLs but I’d like to have high beams at least. Anyone have some wisdom to share here? I am aware they will get too hot at full power without proper wiring.

08 TL: recently changed my rear shoes as the e brake was not holding/stopping the car. I adjusted the brake cable under the center console pulls up 6 clicks as well as manually underneath the rotors via the spring under. Fully maxed out until the wheel could not turn then dialed it back 8 clicks. Pulled the e-brake with the rear lifter and the wheels did not turn unless input the e brake down. I assumed good I fixed the issue, went for a test drive and e-brake still doesn’t hold/stop the car and hear a weird noise with the e-brake engaged , it slows down the car very slowly. Video for reference.

Wrapping it Porsche Guards Red this month im pumped but ive had this silver with me forever now. Coilovers dialed in and braided brake lines

I think its the tensioner assembly just based on the movement. But I’ve seen that much movement in it before and it wasn’t making that noise. But also first car experience so I don’t know whats considered “normal” movement from the assembly. If it matters at all, this was after a lot of stop and go traffic. Thanks for looking

I have weather tech rainguards on my 06 TL, I was wondering what the most popular rear window visors were for the 3rd gen TLs?

Has 123k miles on the clock, in good running condition. Just needs front of engine service and it’s good to go for a couple hundred thousand more miles.

So there is this noise that sound a bit Metallic and i cant tell, some mecanic tells me its an heat shield, other tells me it might be the engine mount cause its when im on drive or reverse only on low speed so at a stop sign or a light,

So really I dont know what could it be, I also know that my cv Axle seal is leaking so if anyone had this problem in the past let me know!!!
