Two Paintings from One Pour! Double Dip Fluid Art that Anyone can Try

Double Dip Acrylic Pour | Fluid Art Technique | Acrylic Pouring Diptych
In this video I’m creating two paintings from one pour using a simple and satisfying Double Dip acrylic pouring technique.
https://youtu.be/nJSwOEQ8zLA?si=QhJAIVCf3iCgkLby
With just few puddles of fluid acrylic paint and two canvases, this technique creates a beautiful diptych painting where each canvas develops its own unique personality. I love this technique because it’s simple, surprising, and very satisfying to watch. When the canvases separate, you never know exactly what will appear — and that reveal is always magical.

Advice

I have been following this page for a while, and I admire everyone’s’ work from afar. I can’t seem to find the right color combo (or maybe it’s the order of the colors, or the way I am pouring the colors). What is your favorite color combo and technique? I have a hard time finding good step by step tutorials.

Can someone teach me how to paint?

I have been painting on and off for years now and i really love it but it's frustrating i can't seem to know how to paint shadows, buildings, windows, basically realistic looking paintings. my painting always come off really bad to the point i spend days on it and throw it away or repaint over it. I would be willing to pay a little money to someone to teach me how to paint so i can progress and do better. Thank you

Feathered Waves 💙 Acrylic Straight Pour + Double Wrecking Magic

This one feels like water in motion… soft, layered, and quietly powerful.
https://youtu.be/jwu3ZRt8PAg?si=H-wM7RaRnee8AdFD
In this video, I’m using a straight pour combined with double wrecking to create these flowing, feather-like wave effects. The movement builds gradually—first with the pour, then shaped and refined with two gentle passes through the paint.

When The colors stretch, the lines open, and the composition starts to feel like waves rolling through each other.
This palette of blues and greens brings a completely different mood—calmer, deeper, more meditative.

🎨 Let me know in the comments: does this feel more like ocean waves or feathers to you?

Flashback Friday ✨️

I poured these in 2018. The finishing touch is a balloon smash.

Edit to add: these are ceramic tiles. And they are incredibly versatile!

(And i have tried to replicate but i was unsuccessful. Lol.)

Chain Pull Flower Acrylic Pour 🌸 (Full process video)

Post:
I’ve been practicing the chain pull technique and tried creating a flower-style composition with it. I love how the petals stretch and form all those little cells and details as the chain moves through the paint.

This one surprised me a bit — especially how the red and purple played together with the white base.

Here’s the full process if anyone wants to see how it came together:
