Hi , I was wondering if someone with a French PMQ , > 12 month work experience in the NHS and full registration with the GMC has to still sit the AMC exam to qualify for registration in Australia? I know their requirements list PLAB + 12 month work NHS experience to qualify for the competent authority pathway. But as someone who acquired full registration without the PLAB. I’m not sure how it works. It’s not like I can sit the PLAB now ? If already fully registered.

Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding the CAP. I was looking on the AHPRA website but just needed some clarification on some things.

As someone with an EU PMQ and more than 12 month experience in the UK/ Ireland healthcare system. Would having the MCCQE and NAC make me eligible for the CAP ?

I have full registration with the GMC but was exempted from the PLAB due to having a relevant European qualification. Which alone doesn’t allow me to meet the criteria to be eligible for the CAP.

However I already passed the MCCQE.
