Can I grow in this room??

I’m trying to get started, and looking at AC Infinity for my first grow. My goal is to get the all in one kit, and potentially an extra carbon filter for smell.

Is this room big enough to have a 2x4 AC Tent with the filter inside? My goal is to have 2, maybe 3 plants max.. I have a 14 year old, so trying to be as discreet as possible, but also not worried overly concerned if I can keep the smell from going too crazy.

My thoughts are to get some rubber stoppers for under the doors to this room; and the basement as a whole. I’d get locks on this door to keep my 14 year old out, but ultimately curious if you think smell can be somewhat contained without a window or making any new holes to vent out.

Appreciate any advice 🙏🏾

Got the new Camera. Super nice. The picture is incredible. The only downside I see is trouble identifying separate plants. Sure these are a little close but what happens in a living soil bed with a cover crop? If anyone else has one with a living soil bed and multiple plants let us know.

Terraform 8 NEED HELP PLEASE.

Target temp is set to 75 and we’re stuck around 55. And the unit is remaining at a level 1 not really ramping up and blowing warm air to get to target. Any ideas? The trigger setting mode wasn’t getting us to target either. The ambient temp in this attic is like 70 right now so idk what the problem is?

Setup question for HYDRONE 5… Hydrone 5+ Terraform 8+ Exhaust fan

I’m having trouble figuring out the best way to setup and run these pieces of equipment especially for controlling humidity. I currently have my exhaust fan inside the tent leading out the top of the tent and out the window. I had my terraform running from my window into my tent ( one duct for the window to T8 then another duct into the tent bottom vent. How are people running their setup especially using the Hydrone 5? Inside the tent and if so are you venting it out with ducting, outside the tent closed loop ( I’m trying to avoid this because of heat and running out of vent lol ) or outside the tent single ducting into the tent and exhausting into lung room? Idk if it’s the tray2grows or what but I can’t get my humidity down for my life.

Trying to balance AI and VPD

Running a 4x4 with Evo6, humidifier, and heater. I have the AI set to VPD mode with the desired number set at 0.9. I’m about 3 weeks into flower. I’m letting the AI control the main fan (exhaust), humidifier and the heater. While it is constantly keeping my VPD at 0.9, it’s running the temp at 76 degrees, and the humidity at 71%.

Looking at the VPD chart, with a temp of 76, my humidity really should be at 60-62%.

Ideally I’d like to run my temp at 80, humidity at 60%, and call it a day. BUT when I take humidifier and heater out of AI mode I feel as if they fight against each other. Any tips would be appreciated.

Hey ya'll.

I recently became the owner of the AI+ Controller and am generally very satisfied. Do have a full 120x60 ACI Setup now with a Sanlight EVO 5-120. Did a few runs before with a totally different setup without much automations or Controllers...

I am located in Germany/Europe.

Few major problems i face with my setup.
But one major question for you upfront:
HOW DO YOU CALLIBRATE YOUR RH / TEMP PROBES ??

Insufficient fine calibration of the hygrometer temperature probe:

What unfortunately bothers me heavily is that the calibration of the temperature-hygrometer probe does not function adequately. There is a significant lack of “fine” adjustment options within the app. Currently, only adjustments in whole units are possible, which leads to considerable deviations from the actual environment and inaccurate VPD calculations.
In my opinion, it should be possible to adjust values in increments of 0.1, as is common with other manufacturers of digital hygrometers. This feature should be relatively easy to implement via an app update and is likely high on the feature request list for many users.
Proper calibration and adjustment of the probe must be a central component to ensure accurate results for the core feature of calculating VPD values—one of the main functions of the AI+ Controller. The current coarse adjustment in whole degrees or full percentage points leads to significantly inaccurate VPD readings.
This issue is likely due to the system being adapted from the American Fahrenheit-based model, where whole-number adjustments are more practical than in Celsius.
Note on factory calibration:
So far, I have purchased 4 new probes. All of them showed significant deviations, especially regarding humidity. The deviations were consistently between 4% and 10% RH. Additionally, all units showed temperature deviations ranging from 0.3 to 0.8 °C. These values are definitely no longer within a negligible range.

General information for users regarding probe calibration:

There is also a lack of an official FAQ or guidance on calibrating/adjusting the probe. I usually calibrate my hygrometers using a saturated salt solution, but this is not easily possible due to the probe’s cable connection.
There is a clear lack of information for users who need to calibrate their probes. It would be very helpful if AC Infinity could provide official documentation explaining how they recommend performing probe calibration.

Ability to monitor values at multiple points within a measurement zone / tent:

The AI+ Controller includes multiple sensor ports. However, it is currently not possible to measure temperature and humidity at more than one point inside the tent. When a second probe is connected to another sensor port, the app does not allow it to be used as an additional internal measurement point; instead, it is defined as an external measurement, and the built-in sensor is disabled.
In practice, multi-point measurement within a tent is essential, as temperature and humidity distribution can vary significantly even within a small space.
It would be extremely helpful to enable the use of multiple hygrometer-temperature probes connected to the available ports. At present, I would need to purchase a second controller just to measure and optimize two points within the tent, which should not be the solution.
I understand that sensor splitters have been announced. Will these allow multiple measurement points to be used and integrated into the AI-based optimization and microclimate calculations within the tent?
Is there any information on when these splitters will be available in Europe?

Grow question

Is the first plant just maturing way faster?

First three pictures are the same plant last two are different plant.

Both were flipped same day now on day 34 flower.

Final week on the Critical, next grow for the tent will be Maui Wowie - I really enjoy this point, the scent is amazing, also prompts me to change out the carbon :)

Follow-up to my previous post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ACInfinityAdvancegrow/s/OljzKECwT2

Unfortunately, soon after my original post, we found out my childhood cat was sick which meant leaving my husband in charge of my plant. A few days away did some good as I came back to a bunch of new growth! However, I do have concerns about the color and spotting.

Background:
- HSC Apple Blossom: germinated 4/1, in soil 4/8, so this is about a month in
- Temps: 72° at night to about 82° during the day
- Humidity: 72%
- Lights: Ramped up to ~400 PPFD as of yesterday
- pH: 5.8, watering about 2 cups every other day (or when top layer of soil is dry)
- Nutrients: none yet; growing in FFOF/FFHF and read you shouldn’t need any for the first month?

I initially thought the spots were caused by getting water on the lower leaves when watering, but the yellowing tips and lime green color have me concerned. Thoughts? My first grow so trying to learn as much as possible.

Someone asked about how to set you device to your ports.. drop down hud after you click this arrow and click the number #1 port practice putting your light first as it's most important.

Then you can rename it ect..

I'll post more if y'all like this post and me tryna help y'all with your aci tings

Has anyone dealt with their temp probe going crazy? My reservoir is at 66 degrees, it’s definitely not at 114. Any suggestions?

Hey im a little confused at the very bottom it says

On above 75 and on below 65

Off below 75 and off above 65

What im trying to do is keep it between 65-75.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Hey all, going to refill my filters pretty soon. Anything I should know about when doing this? I was reading that some people say you need to have some type of vibration plate under the filter while you're filling it so that everything compacts tightly. Otherwise it won't really be that effective. Am I overthinking this? What do you guys do with the old carbon? Just throw it out?

Thanks
