I’m not the first to love BW’s artwork. After hunting for a copy at several shows I finally won this is an auction. I’m thrilled to finally have it in my PC. Presents really great except for the damage in the bottom right corner and along the right side of the cover. The colors really pop.

1st Issue Special #7 The Creeper (DC 1975). This issue attempted a revival of this exciting character after the 1968 series ended. It was this very issue that introduced the wild and unique Creeper to me and I became a fan instantly. Ditko masterwork in full display.

HOUSE OF MYSTERY #195 (DC/1971) Bernie Wrightson & Swamp Thing Key

Hi all. I’m new to this group and first post. I just finally acquired one of my favorite House of Mystery comic books. This is Bernie Wrightson at his finest on this cover.

I got this a couple of days ago and am really excited to have a very early issue of OUR FIGHTING FORCES. Great cover art by Jerry Grandenetti.

House of Mystery #200

Purchased this copy today in VF(8.0) condition.
Cover Art by Michael Kaluta. I love the art work he did for DC and on Weird War Tales

I went to Hattiesburg, Mississippi for the weekend. Saturday, we hit the Lucky Rabbit, this big antique mall downtown. It was pretty cool, but the selection of comics wasn’t great and the prices were high. Today we hit a couple of flea markets on the way out of town on Highway 49 and the story was the opposite: lots of comics at good prices.

Made an earlier post of original art from an unpublished Claw the Unconquered, and it compelled me to post up that first magnificent intro cover by Ernie Chau for Claw the Unconquered #1 (DC 1975). What a thrilling, well-written, memorable character and story-line!

What issue is this picture in?

I’m not sure what era it is since I’m kinda new to this stuff but there’s a photo of scarecrow online and has this image of what looks like scarecrow roping batman to the T (idk what it’s actually called) scarecrow hang onto
