The end of the line for The Unknown Soldier. He had a storied career indeed. I remember being mad as a 12 year old when DC ended The Unknown Soldier. The cover is a great one from Joe Kubert.

Picked this up off of eBay last week. I thought it was cool. It was a great movie for real. What do you all think on this for a grade?

Raw copy vs. CGC slab

I have two copies of OAAW #246, one raw & the other a CGC 8.0 graded. I had the raw one for a while now in a VF+ 8.5. I came across the CGC graded one for less than I paid for the raw copy and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a graded example. Which do you like better?

This is my earliest OAAW in my collection. Bought back in the late 90’s in Florida where I was living. Bought it for around $5. Heck of a bargain back then. Cover art by Irv Novick.

Would you all grade this around a VG or higher?

Got this delivered yesterday from USPS. Always love the covers with The Jeb Stuart on the cover. This is fantastic cover art from Russ Heath. His artwork is amazing. DC Comics in my opinion fielded some of the best artist in the industry.

Awesome cover art by Joe Kubert. The whole Gang is assembled on this cover including Pooch The K-9.

This is the other WAR IS HELL comic I got while visiting comic store in NC. Cover Art by Gil Kane. Still can’t believe I found these in the wild.

I lucked into this key 1st issue of Weird War Tales last October locally. This issue is a hard one to get as prices are always uber high. I read Weird War Tales as a kid in the mid 70’s.

This trio of The Spectacular Spider-Man was delivered to me yesterday. I got this trio off of eBay pretty much for #64 key. They are all in excellent condition. What are your thoughts on #64’s grade? If you have seen my earlier post I posted my CGC 8.0 on here. I’m happy to have an un-slabbed copy. Any ways I’d like to hear your thoughts.
