A link ( https://www.nytimes.com/1993/10/01/movies/critic-s-notebook-a-no-apologies-woman-for-the-90-s-harlow.html ) to a New York Times article about Harlow, which includes this about "Red Dust":
"In "Red Dust," she decides to take a bath in a rain barrel, the better to get Clark Gable's attention. (...)
Harlow had the rare ability to mock her status as a sex symbol without negating it, a quality that made Gable her best screen partner. Glance for glance and smirk for smirk, he matched her wry sense of sex as play.

And when he returns after his fling with Astor, she welcomes him back without a thought for the past or the future..."
This was a movie by Victor Fleming, who later made Gone With the Wind and The Wizard of Oz...
