Brings so much joy to finally be a reptile keeper in some small way. Taking handling really slow, holding still nearby or offering food with my hand. I think the shed and found droppings mean he's doing well. It's hard to tell what's going on in that little cryptic brain or how far taming will go. Though it's still very early days, been a minute since I've handled a reptile but have fond memories with other kinds of geckos and snakes growing up.
Any other tips and pointers are welcome. Kinda surprising how simple it can be with these guys. I'm doing my best not to let this snowball and he will probably be my only reptile unless I ever seek a mate for him.
TLDR beginner keeper, sharing progress and open to any advice about taming or otherwise.
