I am currently reading Grizzly Years by Doug Peacock. In one chapter he bushwhacking over the Divide following a grizzly bear. He mentions Silenos Cirque and Silenos Lake. I cannot find anything about Silenos. In the same chapter he mentions looking down from the Divide and looking at the North Fork of the Flathead River. It is quite plausible Doug Peacock made up the name to keep this backcountry area a secret.
