We have old but intact stucco. We patched a few places and then wanted whole house exterior painted.

We specced 2coats of Loxon xp. Painter came.. they put two coats of loxon primer and sealer. I caught it after about half a day.. during which 3/4 of the house was double coated with primer. It's been two days with light rain since then while theyr figure out what to do next.

Asking for opinions on what is best to do given all this. The painters came back with option to double coat whole house with Loxon xp..(4 coats including primer in some areas in that plan). But I don't trust them at this point.
