My mom had a health scare yesterday which got us thinking, if she dies, does her money in her bank ect go to my dad?

When he dies, does his debt go to my mom?

I don’t even speak to him. He texts me sometimes but I don’t answer since he’s a bit of a psycho. I haven’t lived with him since I was a newborn.

I’ve spoken to my mom about it and she said she doesn’t want to see him and that’s why she hasn’t done it.

Can she do it without seeing him? Without him signing anything?

I don’t know anything about this. She doesn’t know either. She’s an immigrant.

We are in NSW.

Thankyou. No properties to split. He took the money 20yrs ago and she was too busy with her babies to fight. Shes better off now.
