Netflix execs, under approval of Netflix co-CEOs…

1. have been quietly moving most voice work to Canada since 2023 to avoid US workers and SAG-AFTRA protection and use those performances to train “Deepspeak” A.I. that replaces human performers.

Also, all Netflix produced performances in all languages and all countries outside of SAG-AFTRA in the US are used to train Netflix generative A.I. that replaces human performers.

Immoral, not illegal, but also certainly won’t help Netflix in talent union negotiations.

2. have orchestrated and sanctioned a blatant and ludicrous ongoing illegal Pay-To-Play “internship” scam in LA that charges actors $2000 for the opportunity to work. Evidence shows how blatantly this violates California’s Krekorian Talent Scam Prevention Act (AB 1319) in multiple ways.

Whistleblower website dedicated to showing how Netflix execs have moved large volume of work out of LA/California/US to Canada to circumvent SAG-AFTRA and use performances to train A.I.

Also, the same Netflix execs have orchestrated and sanctioned an ongoing Pay-To-Play scam charging LA talent $2000 for the opportunity to dwindling work they haven’t moved to Canada for A.I. training.

(No Beef with Canada or Canadian actors, they just took dubbing jobs).

Hopefully this info helps artists in LA avoid scams, and eventually pressures Netflix tech execs to change their behavior toward talent and labor and humanity.

Netflix has sent most of their English voice recording outside the US since 2023 to avoid the SAG-AFTRA union protections for artists and to deny healthcare access to as many people as possible to weaken the unions. For more stories, Google “Netflix Deepspeak”.

A.I. art can and will exist, but so should human art, especially in the stories we all share culturally.

Part of humanity’s connection to this world is to make and enjoy human art within it.

My advice, feel free to take it or leave it, is don’t let a handful of tech execs and their billionaire handlers take that from you and your family and everyone you know and will ever meet or won’t.
