I’m reaching out here because I genuinely need some guidance and support from this community.

I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience, currently based in Ahmedabad, and I’ve been actively trying to transition to opportunities in Bangalore. Over the past few months, I’ve applied through almost every major platform—LinkedIn, Naukri, company career portals, referrals wherever possible—but I haven’t been able to convert any solid opportunity yet.

At this point, I feel like I might be missing something—whether it’s visibility, networking, or simply the right connections—so I thought of asking here.

A quick overview of my profile:

- 4+ years of experience in mechanical design across EV, oil & gas, and water treatment industries

- Strong hands-on experience in CAD tools: SolidWorks (CSWA Certified), AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, NX (UGNX), Creo

- Core expertise in:

- GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis

- DFMEA and DFM

- Sheet metal and weld design

- Manufacturing drawings and fabrication support

- Experience with ANSYS FEA (linear static analysis)

- Worked extensively with SAP (BOM, BOQ, part codes, inventory) and Autodesk Vault

- Proven impact:

- Reduced design lead time by 50% through workflow automation

- Eliminated fitment issues using systematic tolerance stack-ups

- Built BOM automation tools saving hours per project

- 2W Electric Vehicles (frames, suspension, sheet metal parts)

Currently, I’m working as a Design Engineer, but I’m specifically looking for roles in Bangalore to get broader exposure, work with diverse teams, and grow in a more dynamic engineering ecosystem.
