My 12V died faster than I expected so I needed a new one. I figured I should buy an AGM battery since it was better for the kind of charge/discharge cycles in an EV and would handle deep cycles better than my old battery. Now the old battery has this extra foot on the bottom where it's bolted down but my new battery doesn't. Is there any way to still securely tighten down the new battery? Or do I have to look for another battery that has exactly this same kind of foot. I can't tighten it down with tiewraps or anything like that since it won't pass the yearly inspection in my country.
