[DISCUSSION]Drastic drop in orders over the last week for Vetted Pro and Top Rated Sellers. What is going on?
I have been working on Fiverr for over seven years, actually over eight years now, and I am a Vetted Pro and Top Rated Seller in the business planning category.
This year, I honestly thought things would finally take a stronger turn in terms of revenue growth, especially because I became a Top Rated Seller in November after spending years building the credentials to qualify for it. Previous years had also gone well overall, but with the rise of AI, my numbers had declined a bit, especially in 2024 and 2025.
Then, January, February, and March started extremely strong. In fact, this month I had even exceeded some of my pre-AI performance numbers. April was not bad either, quite the opposite, it went well, and even last week I still had orders coming in.
However, the worrying part is that I have not received any new messages for several days now, and I have not received any negative reviews. I also spoke with my Fiverr Success Manager, and she told me that, as far as she could share, there were no negative private reviews either.
Last week, she advised me to change some tags on my main gig. When checking from an incognito browser, I noticed that my gig has dropped by a few positions, but it is still fully visible. She also told me that this is normal, as the algorithm needs some time to adjust after the tag changes.
Still, I am honestly worried. Right now, I only have one smaller order in queue from an old client, and nothing else to work on, which is honestly quite frightening because this has never really happened to me in all these years.
Is anyone else experiencing something similar?
I would also like to promote myself outside the platform to drive traffic to my gig, but I am not sure how to move forward. Fiverr Ads seem almost inactive at the moment, and I created an Instagram post and sponsored it, but so far it has not brought meaningful results
