Hey guys. I got diagnosed with colitis in March.

I was given 9mg of Entocort/Budesone to take considering I’ve been in a horrid flare up for months. 3 days in, I already was experiencing terrible mental health side effects - extreme depression, anxiety, panic attacks, suicidality, etc. I only lasted 6 days on 9mg.

I was switched to Mezavant and was on it for 5 weeks, but it never did anything for my diarrhea.

I’ve restarted Entocort at 3mg (1 capsule) 12 days ago. I’m still having the same side effects again. Depression, anxiety, borderline panic attacks, and extreme fatigue (I can’t remember if I experienced that the first time around.) It’s really helping my chronic diarrhea so I don’t want to stop it, but I’m noticing these mental health side effects really impacting my quality of life. I already deal with mental health issues as is, so this is a real situation.

How long did it take you to adjust to Entocort? Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? TYIA!

The newest season of Beef didn’t at all feel like season 1. I legit had to keep reminding myself I was watching Beef S2 because I was constantly thinking I was watching The White Lotus.

Hey guys. I have HSV simplex 1 orally and genitally. I take 500mg of Valtrex daily and have for years. It’s made my outbreaks basically non existent.

I got the Nexplanon insert (birth control) in early January. Since then, I’ve had many questionable outbreaks genitally. There’s only been a few that I’m sure of, but many times I’ve questioned it therefore have remained abstinent.

Previously I was on triquilar, a combination 28 day birth control pill. I rarely had outbreaks or had questionable ones.

Has anybody gotten the Nexplanon insert and had an increase in outbreaks? TYIA!
