Looking for a chill race day? The Beaver Dash Bash is back! (Lapeer, MI – Sept 19)
If you’re looking for a race that’s more about the "post-ride beers and hanging with friends" vibe than elite-level stress, you need to check out the Beaver Dash Bash at the Oakdale Trails in Lapeer.
The Oakdale system is perfect for a fast-but-fun day. It’s definitely beginner-to-intermediate friendly, plenty of flow and enough singletrack to keep it interesting without feeling like you're fighting for your life. Whether you’re trying your first race or just want to rip through the woods with your buddies, this is the one.
What’s new for 2026:
We’re mixing things up this year with some fresh categories for the competitive (and the specialized) riders:
- Elite Open Category (22 Mile): For those who want to see where they stack up against the fastest in the area.
- Single Speed Open (22 Mile): One gear, no fears.
- Fatbike Open (11 Mile): Bringing the big tires out for a single-lap sprint.
E-Bike Pioneers:
We’re proud to be one of the longest-running MTB races in Michigan to offer a dedicated Class 1 E-Bike category. If you’re riding pedal-assist, you’ve got a home here and a bracket to compete in.
The Vibe:
The best part is honestly the "Bash" part of the name. We’ve got:
- A craft beer tent 🍺
- Food trucks 🌮
- Cornhole and a Disc Golf challenge
- A great community atmosphere that supports Crank 4 a Cause
Grab your bike, bring your friends, and come hang out in the "DeMille Bowl."
