It's ok, I'll hold your hand. I see a lot of these sets going out the door and wonder why everyone is buying extra sockets. I don't want to hear from all three of you that are restoring a 73 Camaro
UPDATE: This post has been crazy informative, thank you all for sharing
UPDATE 2: My ignorance to SAE use cases and statistical or non-statistical analysis have angered some...for that I am sorry...for everyone else this has become pretty interesting
UPDATE 3: I can't find any good data about whether Metric is used more than SAE...here is an informal poll with 243 answers showing which way that polling group skewed https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/metric-vs-sae-standard-tool-usage.515177/page-2 these numbers would suggest that SAE sees less use...now the question is are people that buy master sets at Harbor Freight using their SAE more than the population at large my assumption, which some have called ignorant, is that the majority of people buying master sets only really need metric sets...but you could argue that SAE inclusion represents added value over the Metric only sets at a marginally increased cost
