It's been a long year, but we've done the implausible.

Last May I shattered 3 pistons at once running anti-lag on my VB.

Today, same block, she ran again with many upgrades:

- 280/286 VA Cams

- 1/2 inch studs

- epoxy closed deck

- my own special port injection setup on OEM ECU

- custom forged JE pistons .25 over

- callies 625 rods

- King bearings all around

- kelford dual valve springs

- rocker retainers

- and more!

I had a bunch of help and support and can't wait to see all y'all back out on the road

Any opinions on what big brake kit to get? I want to do that next.

The next Forza has our car in it. They rated it Epic.

Is this a normal sound on a cold start? Car is basically new, only 200 miles on it so far.

I’ve had her for over a month now and i absolutely love her. Really makes the last 4 years of trucking feel worth it.

The last 2 years of the “build.” I think it’s a great first car too😁

Took off stock lug nuts and installed black lug nut.
Heard horror stories about aluminum lug nuts so I went with cold forged steel one.
All matching black now. 😎

Edit: these are from JDMuscle** not JDM. It’s super dark so you can only see the driving lights but I clicked some of the options (you can make them basically any color you want using the color wheel so I just randomly clipped on a few) . These lights are fun but they’re not as exciting as I had hoped, IRL. Especially after I discovered the Matrix taillights right after I received these ones - the matrix version blow these away, IMO . But for still fun for now to have color changing LEDs for my taillights. As someone who grew up in the 90s with all the underglow and neon lights used on cars and trucks , I personally love this kind of stuff.. but I know it’s not for everyone. People either love it or hate it!

Simple appreciation post for the WRX. Happy owner since july 2022 and still love it to death. Did a few mods and it's been fun so far. ETS intake with Accessport have unlocked some power and nice noises from the turbo. Quite happy with my Lachute Performance Catback(though my neighbour complains about cold start in the morning). I'm a bit torn about what to do next. I've already ordered the group N pitch stop mount and Perrin Low profile nozzle. I'd like to get the Cobb shifter plate and brushing for the transmission feel. Kind of would like to get coilovers, but I don't want the car to be unconfortable. Spoke to Lachute Performance for a propoer tune, they told me the Charge Pipe + Intercooler would be the next step forward the tune.

Well, many things to do, no plan in selling it, just some fun.

Just installed my new Doragon taillight - my only wish is that I had noticed the Matrix style version and got those instead bc they’re way cooler but these are still a fun upgrade from stock for now!

Spent the better part of 10 hours washing, clay baring, polishing and ceramic coating this car over the past 2 days. Glad it’s done.

I can’t believe how much this styling has grown on me. Before I purchased I wasn’t a fan of the style or cladding. Checked it out in person and thought it looked much better but still didn’t love the cladding.

2 years later and I love the style and cladding, though I do think a CBS package for cladding would be awesome.

My 2024 Wrx with 36,000km on it blew up. I was driving with the flow of traffic in the left lane, the highway opened up so I downshifted and did a small pull. About 3 minutes down the highway i start to hear this tractor noise, Im thinking no way that’s me right… Next thing I know smoke comes flying out of the hood so I immediately put it in neutral and shut it off, gliding it to a safe spot to pull over. It has been sitting in the Subaru dealerships lot for almost 3 weeks now and we just got updated that Subaru Canada has denied the warranty due to over rev and speed.

Not sure what my next steps are?
