Who tried to unlock your phone?

Who tried to unlock your phone?

hey everyone,

i recently launched Guardexa, an Android app that helps you know what happens when someone tries to access your phone without permission.

the idea is simple: if someone tries to unlock your phone and fails, Guardexa can capture useful evidence like front camera photos, short videos, optional location, and email alerts.

i originally built it around a simple real-life use case: someone around you trying to unlock your phone without permission, whether that’s a curious friend, roommate, coworker, or anyone else. it can also be useful if your phone gets lost or stolen, especially with email alerts enabled, because you may still receive evidence when someone tries to unlock it.

the app is fully usable for free and already does the main job. Pro just unlocks extra protection options.

for anyone who wants to try the Pro version, i created a public code for 1 month free Pro:

REDDITPRO

Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.forgebase.guardexa

happy to hear any feedback or suggestions, especially around onboarding, UI/UX, or features you’d expect from an app like this.

[Promotion] I built Guardexa to help you see who tried to unlock your phone

hey everyone,

i recently launched Guardexa, an Android app i’ve been building to help people know what happens when someone tries to access their phone without permission.

the idea is simple: when protection is enabled, Guardexa can detect failed unlock attempts and save useful details like front camera photos, short videos, event history, and optional location. after you unlock your phone, you can review what happened.

it can also help if your phone is lost or stolen, because failed unlock attempts can trigger evidence that may be useful later, especially with email alerts enabled.

main features:

  • detect failed unlock attempts
  • capture front camera photos
  • record short videos with sound and surroundings
  • save events for later review
  • optional location capture
  • optional email alerts
  • privacy-focused protection settings

i thought this could be useful for some Android users here, and i’d really appreciate any honest feedback from people who try it.

as a small launch giveaway, i’ll give lifetime premium codes to the first 20 members who want to use it. just DM me and i’ll send a code while they last.

Play Store link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xyz.forgebase.guardexa

Update: the 20 lifetime promo codes are now all claimed. thanks a lot to everyone who tried Guardexa and sent feedback.

the app already includes useful protection features for free, but for anyone who wants to upgrade their protection with the Pro version, i created a public promo code for 1 month free Pro: REDDITPRO

happy to hear any thoughts if you check it out, especially if there’s anything that feels unclear or could be improved.

Hey everyone,

I built SparkPDF for those small PDF tasks that always seem more annoying than they should be on mobile.

I often needed to sign, stamp, fill, scan, or organize PDFs from my phone, and a lot of the apps I tried felt clunky for simple things. So SparkPDF is my attempt at making those everyday workflows feel smoother.

It currently supports:

  • Scanning documents
  • Turning images into PDFs
  • Adding signatures and stamps
  • Filling forms
  • Adding text and dates
  • Merging PDF files
  • Reordering and deleting pages
  • Organizing documents into folders

Premium normally has a lifetime option at $39.99, but I’m giving free lifetime access to people from this community.

Update: Reddit started limiting my DMs, so I moved the claim flow here instead

No payment or subscription needed. Just claim the code there and redeem it inside the app.

If you give it a try, I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback. A store review would also mean a lot if you find the app useful.

Hey everyone,

I’m working on a small creator partner program for a mobile app I built, and I’d love feedback from creators here before I start reaching out more seriously.

The app is called SparkPDF. It helps people scan, sign, fill, and manage PDFs from their phone. I’m not dropping the link here because I’m mainly looking for feedback, but happy to share it if anyone wants to check it out.

The partner idea is:

  • creators get their own coupon code for their audience
  • the audience gets free Premium access for a limited time
  • the creator earns 30% commission from users who upgrade through their code, including future renewals
  • creators get access to a dashboard to track redemptions, purchases, commissions, and payouts

I’m mainly thinking of small or medium creators with real engagement, not necessarily huge accounts. The best fit would probably be creators around productivity, studying, freelancing, small business, office work, or useful apps.

For creators here: does this kind of offer sound fair or interesting?

Is there anything you’d want clarified before accepting something like this?

If anyone is actually interested, feel free to DM me and I can share more details.
