Family friendly event this Friday! Astronomy Open House at OSU

Looking for something fun to do Friday night? The Astronomy Club is hosting the 3rd annual Physics and Astronomy Open House at OSU! The event will be on Friday, May 15th, from 6-10 PM, Weniger Hall on campus (23rd and Monroe). It's totally free and open to the public, and we have a wide range of educational science demonstrations for all ages to enjoy.

There will be lectures from 6-9 PM, varying from talks on alien life to detecting when black holes collide. Throughout the entirety of the Hall, we have fun science demos, clubs, and research labs alike. At the end of the night, we're going to peer into the cosmos with our telescopes to show Jupiter's moons, galaxies and much more!

See below for our poster (which I'm sure you've seen around campus) and spread the word.

Hope to see you Friday!
