What can a high risk hpv infected man do? Women can get pap smears and keep it monitored, ppl with GW can SEE whats going on, but what abt hpv16 in men? Are they supposed to just move on hoping cancer never shows up??
Im only 19 and tested positive for hpv16 through PCR testing. Im so so so depressed bc of this, this is literally ruining my life. Im scared for all the type of cancers it causes for me and my boyfriend. I can't do this anymore.
I've been reading 90% of hpv infections are cleared in 2 years. And now im reading only 40% is cleared by 2 years and 70% by 8 fucking years. Is this a joke wtf. Someone pls provide me with a true information.
I was always cautious of STDs as i was terrified of catching one. I knew about almost every single one since i was in middle school except hpv. Aaand i caught the highest fucking risk one. Jokes on meee. HPV16, already engaged in oral sex too haha. And ppl on this subreddit are like "hpv positive but not 16 or 18" sounds like saying im fucked but NOT that fucked. I'm really young and it seems like i'll spend the rest of my life carrying the guilt of it. Cervix, throat, vulvar, penile, anal cancers? I hate my life.
