How does this actually fail?
I have a Kohler canister flush valve. This is the 2nd time I’ve had to replace this ring gasket for a toilet that fills intermittently because of a slow leak with the gasket.
The new one fixes the problem, but I can’t see/feel anything wrong with the old one.
These things are cheap, so this is a very minor nit, so mostly curious. Is the damage invisible to normal sight/touch?
