i’ve always enjoyed watching the prequel before the Original due to the beautiful transition, but my mind had changed

The transition from one movie to the next always felt just too good to not enjoy, but i’ve changed my mind.

I’ve thought a lot about it and i’ve come to the conclusion that for me, the prequel answers a lot of the beautiful and horrific mystery, and its the unknown of this mystery that is such an added layer of horror that got me so hooked in the first place.

Sometimes answering the questions reduces the enjoyment of what is good about something. It’s what our imagination can do with these unknowns that Carpenter has so wickedly threaded through the film.
