Best Historical/Mythological Movies of This Century?

Basically films set at least 400-500 years in the past and movies released after 2000 are preferred.

For historical movies, accuracy isn’t a priority, I am just looking for well made and engaging films.

For reference:

•The Lord of the Rings

•The Hobbit.

•Gladiator Part 1 & part 2

•The Northman.

•Troy

[JAG] Why do you DM random girls and then get called a creep?

u know there's not even a 5% chance they LL reply. Most active girls already get alot of DMs giving them unnecessary attention, so whats the point of messaging when you know you LL likely be ignored..?

A box office HIT film that’s seen as a failure ?

Devara: Probably because it was received poorly, crashed after day 1, and one of the main reasons I think is it failed to cross/ barely crossed films like Saaho & Adipurush.

Ramayana & Adipurush Comparison

Ramayana does look better than Adipurush, but it still doesn’t feel as impressive as expected. Given the budget and DNEG’s involvement, it should have clearly stood out, rather than appearing only slightly better or on a similar level. Budget comparison 👇🏽

Total part-1 Budget

Adipurush: 500cr

Ramayana: 2000cr

Only Production Budget:

Adipurush: 300cr

Ramayana: 1000cr +

Unreal hypocrisy: same reviewers who compared Kalki with Dune & Star Wars are now defending 4000cr budget Ramayana

During Kalki glimpse and release, they

started Dune & Star Wars comparison, not just in terms of story, but also scale and visuals. Their logic was “Budget 600cr hai, kuch upar niche toh nahi hona chahiye.”

But now they are defending AI/CGI issues and even those 4000cr budget like it’s nothing 😂
