Update: OnePlus increased my screen replacement discount from 10% to 30%

Hey everyone,

A few days ago I posted about getting a 10% discount on my OnePlus 13 screen replacement after contacting support and escalating my case.

Well, I have another update: after further discussions with the support team, they increased the discount to 30% off the screen replacement cost.

The screen damage was accidental and not covered under warranty, so I honestly wasn't expecting much. I simply explained my situation, mentioned that I've been a loyal OnePlus customer, and politely asked if there was anything they could do to help.

I'm sharing this because it might be worth reaching out to support and escalating your case if you're facing a similar repair bill. No guarantees of course, but being polite and persistent seems to have helped in my case.

Has anyone else managed to get a repair discount from OnePlus? I'd be interested to hear your experiences.

How do you deal with overtrading during volatile sessions?

One of my biggest issues is overtrading when volatility increases.
Even with a plan, I end up taking lower-quality setups just because there’s constant movement.

Curious how others handle this.

Are we becoming too obsessed with Instagram growth?

Lately it feels like every conversation around Instagram comes back to the same things: views, followers, reach, engagement, the algorithm.

Those metrics obviously matter, especially for creators and businesses. But sometimes I wonder if we've reached a point where people are spending more time analyzing content than actually creating it.

I've seen creators delete posts because they didn't perform well enough, abandon content styles they genuinely enjoyed, and completely change direction after a few slow weeks. Meanwhile, some of the most memorable accounts I've followed grew because they had a clear voice and stuck with it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it feels like a lot of people are treating Instagram like a scoreboard instead of a platform.

Curious how others see it. Has the focus on growth metrics improved content, or has it made people more afraid to experiment?

i dont think instagram supports 4K uploads honestly

Maybe I'm wrong but i really dont think Instagram fully supports 4K uploads. every time i upload a reel or normal feed video, the quality always drops after posting. looks sharp in gallery but after upload it gets compressed so much, especially darker clips.

I honestly feel like this is one of the reasons my instagram reels dont get that many likes either, like people scroll faster when the quality looks bad. anybody else noticing this or is there some hidden export setting I'm missing?

I got a discount for my Screen replacement for Oneplus 13 🤭🎉

Hey guys, just wanted to share an update. My OnePlus 13 screen cracked recently, and I had asked here whether I should get it repaired locally or at the service centre.

I decided to contact OnePlus chat support and escalated the issue, asking if they could offer any discount since I’m a loyal customer and the phone is still under warranty.

They called me back and offered a 10% discount on the screen replacement. Just sharing in case it helps anyone else in a similar situation.

Fintech SaaS dashboards: what UX patterns make complex financial data easier to use?

What UX patterns actually help when a fintech dashboard has to handle a huge amount of financial data without turning into a complete mess?

Feels like most dashboards either dump everything onto one screen or hide so much that users stop trusting what they’re seeing. Curious what patterns people think genuinely help decision-making instead of just making the UI look cleaner.

72k Followers and Instagram Still Feels Impossible to Predict

I honestly thought things would become easier after growing past 50k followers on Instagram, but it somehow feels more confusing now. One reel can hit 300k views and bring thousands of likes, then the next 3 posts barely touch 5k to 10k views even with similar content.

The part that messes with me most is seeing smaller creators sometimes getting way better engagement rates than bigger pages. Makes follower count feel less important than it used to.

For people running medium or larger Instagram accounts, does growth actually become more stable over time or is everyone dealing with random performance swings constantly?

Has anyone here successfully automated their operations without hiring a huge dev team?

Curious what people are using for business process automation now in 2026. Feels like there are way more tools than even a couple years ago, but it’s hard to tell what people stick with long term vs what just looks good in demos. Are most businesses still relying on things like Zapier/Make-style workflows, or are more people moving toward AI agents and no-code setups now?

I’ve been seeing platforms like Banza come up more often in conversations around workflow automation and internal business processes lately. Interested in real-world use cases that save time or reduce repetitive work without becoming a full-time job to maintain.

Update: Finally won against HDFC on Zero Processing Fee issue after RBI Ombudsman complaint 🤭🎉

Hi everyone

I had posted earlier asking for advice regarding my HDFC credit card Insta Loan issue.

Quick recap:I took an Insta Loan on my HDFC credit card on 04 March 2026 because I received an official HDFC communication showing Zero Processing Fee. After taking the loan, HDFC still charged me Rs 1299 plus GST as processing fee.

I raised multiple complaints with HDFC. Initially, their team confirmed through email that I was eligible for the processing fee waiver and that the reversal would be done. But later, another team started saying I was not eligible because the offer was only applicable if both Insta Loan and Jumbo Loan were taken on the same day. This condition was not clearly mentioned in the offer communication I received.

After multiple follow ups and repeated contradictory replies, I finally filed a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman.

Result:HDFC has now agreed to reverse the full processing fee of Rs 1299 plus GST by 21 May 2026. They have also offered me a Rs 1000 gift voucher as goodwill, and I selected Amazon.

So yes, the RBI Ombudsman complaint definitely helped. Before that, HDFC kept giving template replies and closing complaints without properly resolving the issue.

My suggestion to others:If you have clear proof and the bank keeps giving contradictory replies, do not waste too much time going in circles. Escalate properly, keep all screenshots and emails, and file an RBI Ombudsman complaint if needed.

Thanks to everyone who guided me on my earlier post. It really helped.

After a while using a robot vacuum regularly, I think I’ve landed on a clearer mental model for it.

It’s not “replace cleaning,” it’s more like “delay and distribute cleaning effort.”

Instead of doing one big manual clean, you get: smaller maintenance tasks occasional intervention and mostly automated daily upkeep

The thing I didn’t expect is how persistent the maintenance layer still is, even with all the automation stacked on top.

I assumed newer systems would eventually reach a point where human input becomes rare, but in practice it feels more like the system just lowers the intensity rather than removing involvement.

So I’m curious how others with longer experience think about this — do you eventually stop noticing the maintenance, or do you just accept it as part of the system?

Because right now I’m still in that phase of noticing every little adjustment I have to make.
