The bill, the New York Children's Online Safety Act, requires all online platforms, including gaming platforms like Roblox and Minecraft, as well as social media sites like Discord, and any other sites that allow direct and \*open\* user-to-user chatting, to implement age verification measures for all users and bar anyone under the age of 18 from chatting online.
