Hey, first of all. After finishing DOS2 (played BG3 before that), I tried Dragon Age Origins, Pathfinder and non hit the spot. Even the very beginning of DOS1 feels like I'm back home.

Anyways, for the question. I know Jahan is in this game as a companion so I assume there are others too. I want to know if the 2 main characters that we create have any background/story whatsoever. Or if it possible to leave one of them at camp/abandon them so I could pick other companions with actual backstory like Jahan.
