It was my (24F) birthday a few weeks ago. Every year for my birthday and Christmas my dad has dropped of gifts at my door. I haven’t seen him in person since I was 7 via court order and I have no idea how he knows where I live.

It was the usual, a birthday card, £20, and some chocolate. I threw the card in the bin, ate my chocolate and added the money to my purse. When I was going to put the bag with the other bags that I keep to regift, I noticed that there was something else in the bag.

A THANK YOU CARD ADRESSED TO HIMSELF

My first reaction was how could someone be so fucking annoying, so I assumed someone had sent it to him and it had somehow fallen into the bag. But no, it was completely blank and then it dawned on me that he wanted me to send a thank you card to him 😭🖕🏻
