Hello there, so the Quercus is down for the foreseeable future and there is currently no way to check the average for the exam for CSC165. But what we can do is look at the previous year's enrolment numbers (through the enrollment tracker) and reddit post with people reporting their averages for previous years.

So the department states that "a total number of 550 students from all streams are admitted to Data Science Specialist, and CS Major programs, with additional students admitted to the CS Minor. The proportion of students admitted from CMP1 and other streams is not known until program admissions are complete."

Out of these 550 about 42 take by Data Science, based on enrolment into JSC270, which leaves us with 508 spots. This is on par with previous years. So lets take a look at home many applicants for those spots over the years from both streams. For the in-stream I am looking at enrollment numbers from CSC111, and for the out-of-stream - at the CSC165. CSC165 tends to be the lower mark out of the two for people and is only offered once a year. So here are the numbers (after deducting LWDs):

Now, what does this all mean? Well, hard to say. This year there a lot more CSC165 enrollements, which might translate into much higher number of out-of-stream applications therefore a tough average. There are a bit more in-stream people than previous years, but not much. There are more details to consider, for example the number of previous year out-of-stream applicants. Also I have not looked at CSC148 and CSC111 marks. The supplementary application can also affect things, but that is entirely case by case basis.

Here is the current set up. I have an FT03 mini case, where 1 case fan works as both intake and CPU radiator fan. The fan is Noctua 140mm. At anything below 60% is dead silent. I set pump speed to be constant 60%, which seems to have eliminated the annoying pump whine, which was noticeable during spin up and spin downs of the fan. 60% seems to be not have any effect on the CPU cooling performance. Also I am using Max (GPU, CPU, MOBO) function for the case fan to react to whatever is hottest, but so far it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference.

Issue: Ryzen 7700 seems to have these little spikes in temps which cases the case fan to spin up for a few seconds then down. Would be grateful for an advice how to optimize this set up.
