Recommendations for 27-inch 1440p IPS monitor with > 60hz + KVM for work and light gaming
Need some opinions here. I currently have a 27" VP2770 LED IPS 60hz monitor from 2014. It has started to have some faint flickering when using the DisplayPort input, so I would like to upgrade. 90% work use and 10% light gaming. So clarity of text is very high priority. Requirements are as follows
- IPS
- 27"
- 1440p (not 4k because I don't have card that can drive 4k for gaming)
- 120hz or greater
- KVM (have PC and Mac)
The following two options seem to check all these boxes:
- Dell UltraSharp U2724DE (~$500-600)
- ASUS ProArt PA278CGRV ($300)
The UltraSharp seems to have decent reviews but I can't find much of anything on the PA278CGRV. Does anyone have experience with this one? I would like to know how well the KVM works on this. It's also half the price of the UltraSharp so curious what makes the UltraSharp worth twice as much. Any other recommendations matching these requirements?
