As the title says. Learned a tonne of stuff, especially things that don't work.

Done some MMA and MIG stuff is the past, but this is the first time I've touched a TIG welder. I really need to find a proper position in which to weld, now I just stood crouched over the thing. Also, when starting, do so starting from the thicker part :D

Looking at the joint I guess what I did was closer to brazing than welding, but if it'll hold water, it "will do, piggy".

Tho, I'm all ears for tips. I already know I need a chair or something to release the strain from my muscles. And some kind of jig that allows the rotation and flexible positioning of the item would help a lot, now I'm just using a very old vice that can rotate 360, but it's clunky.
