I9 9900k on maximus ix code ( z270)
Hi. I currently have a i7 7700k with my maximus ix code. I saw you can update your bios and make some minor hardware changes to get a i9 9900k working with a z270 mobo. Does anybody have any experience in this department if it's working doing or not. My system is about 8-9 yrs old and if it's too risky I'm most probably not gonna do it. But if it's minor changes im willing to go for it. It would really help of you can share a step by step instructions of what to do exactly like a idiot proof guide.
