Where is the Ford County Fluid Plug
Hello everyone,
I got a couple ford tractors inherited after the dead of my father and to be honest I am not well versed in tractors but I need to get them working in order to sell them.
My question is where the plug is to check the transmission fluid because I think there can only be three options.
Check Plug under the left hand side under the clutch lever.
Dip stick directly on the filling cap (mine does not have it)
Maybe in the back somewhere if the fluid also is for the hydraulics because my steering also doesn’t seem to work quite well.
There is Oil in there but I suspect that it is to little and I don’t know if the hydraulics are separate and if so where the dipstick is for that.
As I looked at the engine there is no round cylinder for the steering fluid like on the other tractors have.
I would appreciate any help and I would love to learn.
Thanks 🙏
