and what can I do to help it?

Hello all, 18M here and recently being more conscious of this spot up there. It's not usually obvious 'cuz I style my hair messy, but it seems to be more obvious when I wash my hair, don't style it and let it stay straight.

I've been told by some people that it's an early bald and others said it's just swirl/cowlick, what do you think? And what should I do to try fixing it?

(context: I was told by my parents that I had a stitch somewhere on my scalp as a kid, would that be a factor?)
