If you could have one artist cover a full album by another artist, what would it be?
Musicians always cover songs but never full albums (for understandable practical reasons). If you could have musical artist cover any full album by other artist living or dead, what would it be?
For me personally it would be following:
Spoon covering Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Strokes covering Sketches of Spain by Miles Davis
Geese covering Melodrama by Lorde
Wilco covering Meadowlands by Wrens
Parquet Courts covering Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
What about you?

One thing I don’t understand about Oz Pearlman situation
I understand him lying and spreading misinformation about how human psychology and minds work in order to increase his business and fame. That all makes sense and is nothing new. But why does almost everyone go along with it, especially when uses it to sell books? I get it for comedy podcasts and news shows segments using him for entertainment, but even when more reputable mainstream outlets like New York Times or 60 Minutes cover him, they completely enable his bullshit.
It’s baffling. Does everybody actually believe that mentalism is real skill? It’s equivalent of Uri Geller claiming he learned telekinesis over 30 years of practice and everybody just going along with it for some reason.
And before somebody writes "All magicians deceive", when magician makes rabbit appear in hat, nobody in audience actually believes that magician has a literal ability to teleport rabbits. There is no David Copperfield fans who will argue with you that he literally has ability to make buildings disappear or to fly.
Hollywood is copycat business so with success of Michael the other studios are probably looking to replicate it. Obviously nobody is as big as Michael Jackson but it doesn’t mean that with right budget these biopics still can’t make healthy profit.
Which musicians studios should consider?
Looking at list of best selling musicians of all time, obvious choices is Madonna, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Maybe Mariah Carey, AC/DC, Eagles, Rolling Stones? It’s a bit hard to decide as just because musician has sold a ton of albums in past doesn’t mean they still have huge active engaged fanbases that will go to cinema in sufficiently large numbers.

With runaway success of "Michael" there have been many threads about it and in each there's always highly upvoted comments going "I can’t believe people expected this movie to fail" and acting like this subreddit was doom and gloom about it.
That isn’t true. A month ago there was a "Long Range Forecast" thread about "Michael" and if you look at top responses most people predicated 600m-1B WW aka success.

It’s strange how quickly this subreddit changes narratives and then pretends previous one didn’t exist.
