I'm trying to remember a program from the mid 60's (I think).

It was a sitcom- a man who disappeared during the Alaskan Gold rush (1840-something), and somehow survived. Some sort of suspended animation thing, so he shows up at his grandson's place, still the same age as when he disappeared.

Of course, his grandson was an old man by this point, so you have a gray- haired dude calling a 20- something "Grandpa". It was pretty standard fish-out-of-water stuff.
